DEPARTMENT OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE

 

 

The founding FEK of the 'Translation Studies and Interpreting, Meta-Fraseis' laboratory  was issued on Sept. 13, 2019 (3473/1452), and Professor Maria Sidiropoulou was its first director (31-07-2020-31-07-2023) and founding member.

The aim of the 'Translation Studies and Interpreting, Meta-Fraseis' Laboratory is to cater for the needs of undergraduate and postgraduate studies in the English Department, in translation theory,  in the study of interlingual and intercultural communication and interpreting, across Greek and English (ΦΕΚ 13-9-2020)

The Meta-Fraseis PROGRAMME homepage (UoA: Meta-Fraseis Programme - ΤΗΕ 'ΜΕΤΑ-FRASEIS' LABORATORY) hosted the activities of the first three-year term of the Meta-Fraseis LABORATORY (31/07/3020-31/07/2023) and registered the Lectures/Seminars UoA: Meta-Fraseis Programme - Lectures/Seminars, Publications UoA: Meta-Fraseis Programme - Publications and Symposia/Workshops UoA: Meta-Fraseis Programme - Symposia/workshops organized by the Laboratory.

The 'Translation Studies and Interpreting, Meta-Fraseis' Laboratory is a follow-up stage of the Meta-Fraseis Programme which operated in the English Department for 14 years (2006-2020, founding member Dr. Maria Sidiropoulou), and developed the following projects:
